North Harbour Boys 7 a side Tournament

On Friday the 3rd of June the Wairau boys 7 a side team went to the Marist Rugby Club to take part in the North Harbour Intermediate Rugby Tournament.

All the boys were keen and ready to go and the awesome weather on the day made it great for playing footy.

The first game we lost to Northcross but won the final 3 games convincingly against Albany Junior, Waimauku and Northcote.

2 Girls Teams also competed in the Rippa Rugby tournament with tidy results.

All students are to be commended on their attitudes and sportsmanship on the day. They played hard and showed grit and determination to succeed. You all did Wairau proud - Mr P

Oh no its Wairau 1 against ... WAIRAU 2! Who will be the winner?

And the winner is ... WAIRAU 2! With the final score being 5-8.

Wairau 2 enjoying a well deserved break after the final game. Well done to both girl teams for an outstanding day.

The Mind Lab

We had a fun and exciting day at the Mind Lab.
Eros taught us how to use the 'makey makeys'.
Jianing and Jerry using the 'makey makeys' instead of pressing the arrow keys and the space keys on Scratch.
Using the makey makeys with play dough to create a game controller.

Makey makeys are so cool!
