Trip to Unitec Mindlab

Starting off by arriving at this newfound place, the group I was in, B squad, hopped off the bus and entered into this trip location, as known as the Unitec mindlab.
Walking in, it held a very free spirited, happy vibe; with vast sculpture-like painted letters spelling 'MIND' surrounded by led fairy lights, quirky designed rugs, stained rusted somewhat stylish stools, and also warm lights hung from the ceiling circulated by beige lampshades with many colorful butterfly stickers.

Soon after a short lecture on power circuits and what this mindlab was for, B squad was split in half and went off to do separate activities. My first activity I was to attend and participate in was to go and attempt to try power an led light using a generating motor, a few wheels, some wires and Lego.
Unfortunately, it took some time to process how to actually join power points and make this able to operate, so it took a few tries.

After a lunch break, we went to another activity; which was for us to work in a group of 3 to use the innovative app Scratch. In this session we created 'mixtapes' and designs with a makey makey tool, computers, playdough and cords.
That's my 'Hay$ap Rocky' album mixtape cover :-)
